๐Ÿ”’ Short version: FocusFlow does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All your habit data, session history, and statistics are stored locally on your device and never leave it.

The app does not require account registration and works completely offline for all core features.

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored only on your device using Android Room (local database) and DataStore (preferences):

This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. You can delete all data by uninstalling the app.

4. Third-Party Services

4a. Google AdMob (Free Tier)

Free users see banner and interstitial ads provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect device information and advertising identifiers to show relevant ads. This is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Pro subscribers see no ads.

EU/EEA users: AdMob operates under Google's consent framework. The app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request appropriate consent before serving personalized ads where required by law.

4b. Google Gemini AI (AI Insights Feature)

The AI Insights feature sends anonymized productivity statistics (total minutes, session counts, best hours โ€” no personal identifiers) to Google's Gemini API to generate productivity tips. This feature requires an internet connection and only activates when you explicitly tap "Generate AI Insights." No data is sent automatically.

4c. Google Play Billing

Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card information. Billing is governed by Google Play Terms of Service.

FocusFlow is not directed at children under 13 (US) or under 16 (EU). We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us and we will address it promptly.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. California residents have rights under the CCPA which we honor by default through our no-data-collection policy.

9. Data Security

Since all personal data stays on your device, security depends on your device's built-in protection (screen lock, encryption). We recommend keeping your device updated and using a screen lock.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy as the app evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify users via the app's "What's New" section in Google Play.
